	<p><strong>Effective date:</strong> September 28, 2026</p>
	<p>
		Economico, LLC ("Economico," "we," "us," or "our") provides an
		agent-run finance function and general ledger for businesses. This Privacy
		Policy describes how we handle information in connection with our website at
		economi.co, our API and CLI, and the Economico service (together, the
		"Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

	<h2>Information we collect</h2>
	<p>We collect the following categories of information:</p>
	<ul>
		<li>
			<strong>Account information.</strong> When you sign up or sign in, we
			collect your email address and verify it with a one-time code. As you use
			the Service we may also store your business name and related profile
			details you provide.
		</li>
		<li>
			<strong>Sign in with Google.</strong> If you choose to sign in with Google,
			we request only the <code>openid</code> and <code>email</code> scopes. Google
			shares your email address, whether Google has verified it, and your Google
			account identifier. We use them only to sign you in and link your Google
			account to your Economico account. We do not access your Gmail, contacts,
			files, or any other Google data. We do not use Google user data for
			advertising, and we do not sell or share it with anyone except as needed to run
			the Service. You can stop using Google sign-in at any time. To remove the link,
			revoke Economico's access in your Google Account settings and contact us.
		</li>
		<li>
			<strong>Financial and business records.</strong> The Service is a ledger.
			When you or an AI agent acting on your behalf use Economico, we store the
			data you submit — contracts, invoices, bills, parties (customers and
			vendors), journal entries, cap-table entries, usage records, and the
			resulting balances and reports. You control what is entered into your
			books.
		</li>
		<li>
			<strong>Authentication and integration data.</strong> To let your agents
			and tools connect securely, we store authorization credentials such as
			OAuth client registrations and public keys. We do not store your agent
			host's private keys.
		</li>
		<li>
			<strong>Usage and device data.</strong> When you visit our website or use
			the Service, we automatically collect standard technical data such as IP
			address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and interaction events.
		</li>
		<li>
			<strong>Communications.</strong> If you email us or file a support or
			feature request, we keep that correspondence to respond and improve the
			Service.
		</li>
	</ul>

	<h2>How we use information</h2>
	<ul>
		<li>To provide, operate, secure, and maintain the Service.</li>
		<li>To authenticate you and your agents and keep each business's books isolated.</li>
		<li>To send transactional messages, such as sign-in codes and invoice delivery you initiate.</li>
		<li>To respond to support requests and communicate about the Service.</li>
		<li>To monitor performance, diagnose errors, and understand product usage so we can improve.</li>
		<li>To develop and improve Economico's models using aggregated, de-identified customer content and usage data as described in the accepted company agreement. We do not use identifiable personal data to train models. De-identification does not reduce our obligations under applicable data protection law.</li>
		<li>To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.</li>
	</ul>

	<h2>How we share information</h2>
	<p>
		We do <strong>not sell</strong> your personal information, and we do not
		share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only
		as follows:
	</p>
	<ul>
		<li>
			<strong>Service providers.</strong> We use vetted vendors to run the
			Service on our behalf — for cloud hosting and our database, transactional
			email delivery, error monitoring, and product analytics. They process data
			only to provide services to us and under confidentiality obligations. Our
			<a href="/subprocessors/">named subprocessor list</a> identifies those
			used for customer data under the data processing agreement.
		</li>
		<li>
			<strong>Agent hosts and Google sign-in.</strong> An agent host you authorize
			receives the business data allowed by your connection and handles it under
			your arrangements with that host. If you choose Google sign-in, Google
			processes the sign-in information needed to authenticate you.
		</li>
		<li>
			<strong>Platform billing.</strong> Stripe is an approved service provider for
			payment methods, invoices, and charges under a separately accepted paid order form.
			No card is required to start on Free.
		</li>
		<li>
			<strong>Optional payment rails.</strong> If you choose to send or receive
			payments through an integrated provider, we share the information needed to
			process that payment with that provider. These features are off unless you
			enable them.
		</li>
		<li>
			<strong>At your direction.</strong> When you create a shareable report link
			or authorize an agent or tool, information is shared according to that
			choice. If you publish a business directory listing, its chosen public
			name and identifying details become visible. Published documents and
			reports are visible to those allowed by the publication setting. You can
			revoke shares and authorizations at any time.
		</li>
		<li>
			<strong>Legal and safety.</strong> We may disclose information if required
			by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, safety,
			and property of Economico, our users, or others.
		</li>
		<li>
			<strong>Business transfers.</strong> If Economico is involved in a merger,
			acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of
			that transaction, subject to this policy.
		</li>
	</ul>

	<h2>Cookies and analytics</h2>
	<p>
		Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential site
		function and for analytics that help us understand how the site and Service
		are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling

	<h2>Data retention</h2>
	<p>
		We retain your account and financial records for as long as your account is
		active and as needed to provide the Service. The ledger is append-only:
		corrections preserve the original event and add a linked correction. The
		company can export its record, and account closure or a deletion request
		will be assessed against accounting, tax, legal, and security retention
		requirements. We delete or de-identify data when it is no longer needed and
		law permits. We cannot promise to erase an individual entry from an active
		company's accounting history.
	</p>

<section>
	<h2>Security</h2>
	<p>
		We protect your data with encryption in transit, strict per-business data
		isolation, scoped access credentials, and least-privilege database access. No
		method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to
		safeguard your information and to promptly address issues if they arise.
	</p>

<section>
	<h2>Your rights and choices</h2>
	<p>
		Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete,
		or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain
		processing. To exercise any of these, email us at
		<a href="mailto:hello@economi.co">hello@economi.co</a> and we will respond
		consistent with applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for
		exercising your rights.
	</p>
	<h3>California residents</h3>
	<p>
		Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA),
		California residents may request the categories and specific pieces of
		personal information we have collected, request deletion or correction, and
		know how their information is used and shared. We do not sell personal
		information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You
		may submit a request through the contact above, and you may use an authorized
		agent to do so.
	</p>

	<h2>Children's privacy</h2>
	<p>
		The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do
		not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a
		child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
	</p>

<section>
	<h2>United States processing</h2>
	<p>
		Economico is based in the United States and processes and stores information
		in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you
		understand your information will be processed here, where privacy laws may
		differ from those in your location. Our
		<a href="/agreements/">Common Paper DPA schedule</a> is included at signup
		for EU and UK companies. Owners elsewhere can add it later if their organization
		requires a data processing agreement. The DPA includes transfer clauses
		where applicable.

	<h2>Changes to this policy</h2>
	<p>
		We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will
		revise the effective date above and, for material changes, provide
		additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means
		you accept the revised policy.
