Founder expenses
Paid it yourself? The company owes you
Most companies start on a founder's personal card. Economico records each expense the founder paid as money the company owes them, tracks what has been paid back, and carries costs from before incorporation into the company's books.

The personal card is the first finance system
Before there is a company bank account there is a domain, a cloud bill and a lawyer, all paid by a founder. Later, nobody remembers which charges were the company's, whether they were paid back, or whether they were meant as a loan or as capital. Sorting it out at the first tax filing or due diligence means going through personal statements line by line.
Record it as owed, then record the payback
When a founder pays a company expense, your agent records the cost and records the founder's own money as the payment. The company now owes the founder that amount. When the company pays them back, that is recorded against what it owes, by currency. The founder's page shows what was paid on the company's behalf, what has been reimbursed and the oldest item still open. Refunds and amounts converted into equity are kept apart from cash paid back.

Costs from before the company existed
If you started as a side project or a sole proprietor, your agent can keep those books from the start and later carry them into the company's books when it is incorporated, without rewriting what came before. Once the formation date is recorded with its evidence, the income statement shows which expenses came before it, so you and your accountant can decide how to treat them.
Where this stops
There is no expense-report workflow with approvals, and Economico does not read your personal bank or card statements. Your agent records what you give it. Whether a founder's payment is a loan, a reimbursement or a capital contribution is your call, and your accountant's; Economico records the one you choose.
