Vendor catalog, usage, credits, seats and renewals
The problem Setting up every vendor by hand takes hours, and usage bills, prepaid credits, seat changes and renewal dates still catch you by surprise.
Your agent can look up the vendors you pay in a shared catalog of public plans, by name, website, invoice sender or the descriptor on your card statement. The catalog covers 39 vendors a startup typically pays, plus standard agreements such as the YC post-money SAFE, each plan version linked to the pricing page and terms it came from. When a vendor is there, your agent adopts its plan in one step: the vendor, the plan and a contract at that version land in your books together, and you’re told if the seller name doesn’t match or you may already have that contract. Catalog plans show public prices; your own invoices remain the record of what you paid. You can also publish a plan you sell from the workspace, under your business or, once you’ve proved your domain, under your company name, and withdraw it later.
Your agent can record what a usage-priced vendor charges as it happens, attributed to a customer, a person, a team or a project, and check each estimate against the vendor’s invoice line by line. Anything that doesn’t match is flagged for you to decide on. Two new reports show each period’s estimate against the bill and usage cost by customer, person, team or project. Usage invoices carry the contract’s tax, or the tax the vendor stated.
Prepaid and promotional vendor credits are tracked as dated balances that bills draw down, with unused credit expiring on its date. Discounts and vendor credits apply to the bills they cover, and the full cost stays visible beside them. Seat changes during a term are prorated and trued up. A plan upgrade or downgrade mid-month stays on one contract: the original bill stays, unused time is credited and the new plan is billed to the end of the period.
Contracts can carry their term, renewal, notice period and cancellation windows. Your agent records renewals and notices, and a new report lists the notice, cancellation and renewal dates coming up.
